I'm sure this one needs no introduction. The Wood Pigeon and their distinctive calls are quite familiar to anyone living around Hockley.
How to Identify
The pigeon is mostly known for its "cooing" sound. It is mostly grey in colour, with a sprinkling of white plumage in the neck and wings.
