Buzzard

Buteo buteo
The Buzzard has struggled in the UK previously, having suffered a serious population decline. It has made quite the comeback, however, and can now be seen almost everywhere.

How to Identify

The Buzzard is usually brown in colour, but the undersides of their wings are white. Adults have a dark edge to their wings. They have a yellow beak with a black tip, and yellow legs. Their sounds are described as cat-like, making "kee-yaa" calls.
